ChessMate!

For a number of weeks, fourth and fifth classes were involved in a lunchtime Chess Club. Many talented chess players have emerged from these classes, and a team of four went on to represent Little Island N.S. at Cork ChessZ Tournament in Scoil Mhuire Lourdes, Carrigaline. Well done to all who took part in both our own school league and the Cork Chess Tournament.
