On Thursday 6th of March Sandy McGroarty (Green Schools Travel Officer) visited the school to talk about road safety. She visited classes 1st-5th to explain many important road safety rules to the pupils e.g. why it is essential to wear your seat belt, how to cross the road safely and how to wear your helmet correctly. As a result of Sandy’s excellent lecture, we hope that all the pupils will be much more safety aware when travelling both to and from school and when they are travelling in general. Below are some pictures of Sandy talking to the pupils in first and second class.
