Last year, Little Island N.S. were delighted to announce the introduction of iPads to the classroom. The set of iPads that were purchased are on a mobile trolley, and can be used by pupils from Junior Infants to Sixth Class. This demonstrates our commitment to ensuring our pupils remain at the cutting edge of education and allow them develop their IT skills.
All children are able to play appropriate educational games which assist them with their learning. While older children get the opportunity to be creative and develop individual projects and books e.g. mini e-books with scripted audio.
The possibilities for learning while using the iPads are endless, and we are pleased to continue the work that has already started in the school.
