The night was the 25th of April. First class are waiting backstage patiently on their Nintendos, PSPs etc. We are on in the first half and everyone seems cool and relaxed. The time is near so we get ready and our teacher hands out our ears and clips on our tails. We line up as we rehearsed and make our way to the stage. We began to feel butterflies in our tummies and so we got the cue to tip toe on stage. We were Cinderella’s little mice who helped her clean the room. The lights were on us and the music started to play. We could only do as we practiced and that we did. We loved the performance. Our teacher says that some of us might even be in Cork Opera house when we are older, who knows. Here are some pics of the two nights…..
p.s. A great night was had and we hope everyone enjoyed the show, especially our piece. Thanks to the parents who bought costumes and helped out with the learning of the song. Little Island is very grateful for your generosity and long may it continue. A big thank you from everyone here in Scoil Ínse Ratha and First Class 🙂
