Transparent or Opaque?

Rang a dó carried out an investigation as to whether certain materials are transparent or opaque. We first predicted the answer of each object before we tested it using a torch. The following are the materials we tested: a tea towel, paper, glass, a jumper, a plate, a coin, card, tissue and wood. Below are pictures of the children investigating each material.
