To mark the arrival of Saint Valentine’s Day, fourth class decided to create some tasty treats to share with somebody special. As chocolate rice krispy cakes are a favourite with almost everybody we set about making our Saint Valentine’s delights. The dismantling and melting of the chocolate proved to be an exciting and inviting start to the process before adding and mixing rice krispies to the bowls of melted milk and white chocolate. Individual cupcake cases were soon filled with tempting spoonfuls of both chocolate mixtures. To finish we scattered candy hearts and sprinkles over each individual cake, to add a decorative touch…before devouring!
