Sixth class have been very busy over the past fortnight. On the 4th of October, we went to a workshop on 18th century musical instruments in the County Library. We learned all about the recorder, the cello and the harpsicord from the Baroque Period. The Lillibulero Trio entertained us greatly.
After the workshop we went to the Council Chambers in City Hall where we all pretended to be councillors. Counsellor Ainsough, Counsellor Daniels and Counsellor Zamberga spoke on behalf of their respective parties and did a great job!
Later, we went to the 17th floor of County Hall for a panoramic view over Cork City.
Last week was the final week of our Cycle Sense lessons. We thoroughly enjoyed them all. Look out for us on a raod near you!!!
