Collecting Rainwater

In order to conserve water, one of the initiatives we adopted was the collection of rainwater. We have three buckets outside the main entrance and these buckets collect alot of rainwater. All the classes are encouraged to use this water for school activities whenever possible. It is used in a variety of ways e.g. when carrying out science experiments, using water for art and watering the plants. We also encourage our pupils to carry out a similar process at home where the rainwater can be used for a variety of purposes e.g. washing the car, cleaning windows, watering plants ..etc. Below are some pictures of the rainwater being used for an art lesson and for watering the plants.
